The condition of this sale is made upon the following terms and conditions:
1. The purchase price of this Pit Bull of $is to be made under the following payment arrangement: and has been purchased with the opportunity as having full registration privileges through either the UKC/ADBA/ABKC/APBR
2. This Pit Bull is registered (or) has the opportunity to be registered with . Additional registering organizations this Pit Bull has the opportunity to be registered with include:, ,.
3. (This section only applies to puppies or adults purchased with registration papers). If this Pit Bull puppy is seen by a licensed vetenarian within 10 days upon delivery, and maintains regular vet visits as determined by the vet, then this Pit Bull pup is guaranteed, to the original purchaser, to be free of serious infection, disease or defect for the following period of time: 6 months. If during this time this Pit Bull is found to be defective a replacement one of equal or greater quality and gender will be permitted within a period of 6 month(s). There will be no cash refunds. In returning this Pit Bull there will be required a signed and notarized statement from a licensed veterinarian stating the breed, age, history of care, and diagnosis. Upon this proof there will be additional opportunity to have the Pit Bull examined by a veterinarian of the sellers choosing. If a dispute arises after examination from sellers chosen veterinarian both buyer and seller will have the opportunity to mutually choose a third party veterinarian and be present upon examination to help resolve said dispute. Initial transport of this Pit Bull back to the seller will be at the cost of the buyer.
4. The seller will retain the responsibility of completing all necessary registration information for one registry.
5. Adequate and responsible confinement will be provided by buyer to prevent escape, harassment by or possible injury to the general community and in order to assist in the positive promotion of the Pit Bull breed and its responsible ownership.
6. Buyer agrees to provide adequate food, water, shelter, exercise, health care, and socialization. Enrollment into obedience training has been recommended to help the buyer in understanding effective means of communicating with this Pit Bull. Participation in The American Pit Bull Registry's visual tracking and authentication program microchipping, and or tattooing has been encouraged to help insure return to owner in the event of this Pit Bull becomes lost or stolen.
7. Buyer agrees to provide updates to seller on the health and well being of this Pit Bull.
8. Buyer has been made aware of almost certain euthanasia of this Pit if it is turned into a shelter, rescue, or other animal welfare organization and of the unfriendly nature many such organizations have in regards to this breed.
9. Buyer agrees to first consult the seller on taking back this Pit Bull before taking it to a shelter, pound, rescue, or other animal welfare organization for turn-in with the understanding that such a return does not constitute refund in whole or part. If seller is unable to accept this Pit the owner will do their best to re-home this Pit with a new responsible owner by using The American Pit Bull Registry's Individual Re-Home program in coordination with reasonable advertising before opting to turn this Pit Bull into any shelter, pound, rescue or animal welfare organization. If such a home is unable to be found in a reasonable period of time owner will do their best to locate a no-kill rescue or shelter who can accept this Pit Bull.
10. Buyer will notify seller, and all organizations that this Pit Bull is registered through, prior to selling it to a third party.
11. In the interest of bettering the Pit Bull breed owner will notify seller and all registering organizations of life threatening or disabling disease or defects during its lifetime. Such disease or defects include but are not limited to cancer, hip elbow or other orthopedic issues, heart or other internal organ conditions, cataracts, infertility, birthing difficulty, offspring with birth defects, mental disorders, etc.
12. Buyer understands that the blue coat color is associated with a skin disease and the seller can't be held liable for any disease related to the blue coat color that this Pit Bull may encounter during it's lifetime.I hereby accept the above conditions of this contract
